A high-potency and relatively recent type of P. cubensis are known as goldmember magic mushrooms. The strain was carefully honed before being made accessible for cultivation by Sporeslab in Canada using selected isolations of Penis Envy cubensis and Golden Teacher. The fruiting bodies have long, thick stems that are dazzling white, as well as concave to convex golden caramel tops.
